Ferhat treats the voice as an instrument with many colors and textures. You build solid technique, then learn to use it: phrasing, interpretation, performance and, if you want, improvisation.

What you'll work on
Healthy vocal technique
The foundation. You learn to use your voice safely and effectively, so you can sing the songs you love without strain. Estill Voice Training (EVTS) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) give you concrete tools for a stronger, more reliable voice.
Style & repertoire
Technique serves the music. We work on songs and genres that inspire you, from jazz, pop, soul, funk and R&B to your own originals, with attention to phrasing, interpretation and expression.
Improvisation & creativity
Improvisation frees up singers in any genre. If you want to go beyond the written melody, for example with scat singing, we train it, and you discover new sides of your own sound.

Do I need experience to start?
No. Ferhat works with singers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced and professional vocalists. Lessons are tailored to your voice and goals.
Which music styles can we work on?
Jazz, pop, soul, funk and R&B, as well as your own original songs. You choose repertoire that inspires you and work on phrasing, interpretation and expression.
What do lessons cost?
Rates are available on request and depend on lesson length and frequency. Get in touch for current rates and scheduling.
Where do the lessons take place?
In person in Utrecht, or online from anywhere. You receive the exact studio address when you book.
Do online lessons work?
Yes. Technique, repertoire and improvisation can all be trained over a video call, and online lessons make scheduling flexible wherever you live.
